Andrew Carini, 42, of Gloucester lost his battle to addiction on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Andrew was born August 20, 1975, in Gloucester. He is the loving son to Gaetano and Rosa (Carbone) Carini of Porticello Sicily, Italy. He lived in Gloucester for many years.
He worked on the Gloucester waterfront as a commercial fisherman for many years.
Andrew had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends. His family and friends were the center of his life, he would travel to Italy to visit with his mother and father and extended family. He will be remembered as a man with a huge heart and a great personality.
In addition to his mother, Rosa, and father, Gaetano, Andrew is survived by his two sons, Andrew G. Carini of Gloucester and Anthony Carini of Italy; his brother, Frank Carini and his wife, Anna of Gloucester; and his sister, Maria Aiello and her husband, Luigi of New Jersey. He is also survived by his loving nieces, Jessie Carini, Victoria Carini and Adriana Aiello; his loving partner, Samantha Young; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Andrew’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Prospect Street, Gloucester, on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. For online condolences and register book, please visit www.pikenewhall.com.
