Ann C.'s Story
Ann (Clark) Wolff, 84, wife of the late Eugene F. Wolff, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Born in Arlington, Mass., on May 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Minnette (Savage) Clark and sister of the late Sue (Clark) Pearson.
Ann graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1955, where she studied economics. She worked in banking and real estate, and was president of the board of education in the Ramapo (NY) Central School District. In addition to spending time with her family, Ann enjoyed playing bridge, swimming, gardening, traveling, and giving a home to pets in need.
She is survived by her daughters, Ellen M. Wolff and husband, Kevin King of Brentwood, N.H., Mary Anne Wolff Gardner and husband, Ed Gardner of Oak Park, Ill., Susan C. Wolff and husband, Brian Berube of Dover, Mass., and Jane R. Wolff of South Hamilton, Mass. She was the loving grandmother of Aidan Wolff-King, Patrick Gardner, Emma, Sam, and Matthew Berube, and Sarah Ann Codding. She also leaves her dear friend, Clayton Page, of Rockport.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial celebration on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. at the Emerson Inn, Rockport, Mass. Contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to Wellspring House, 302 Essex Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930; or Doctors Without Borders, or a charity of your choice.
