GLOUCESTER- Mrs. Annie E. (Favalora) Corrao, 88, of Gloucester passed away on December 25, 2017 in Gloucester Health Care following a lengthy illness.
Annie was born March 23, 1929 in Gloucester. She is the daughter of the late Leo and Rosalie (Frontiero) Favalora. She was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1949. Annie moved away from Gloucester many years ago, she resided in Hawaii, Denver, CO, Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as several cities in SC. She returned to Gloucester in 2012 and became a resident at Golden Living.
Annie is survived by her son, Leo Corrao and his wife Diane of Little Compton, R.I. Her granddaughter Amy, her grandsons Jackie, Jonathan, Michael and Thomas. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons; her sister, Julia Mione of Gloucester, her nephews, Vito Mione and his companion, Roxanne, Leonard Mione and his wife, Susan, John Mione and his wife Debbie as well as many cousins and her Godchild, Ann Moceri and her daughters, Grace and Marianne who visited with Annie often.
In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her brother, Sophie and brother-in-law, John Mione.
Annie's family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Care Dimensions, Beverly Hospital and Gloucester Health Care who took wonderful care of Annie.
