Bridget Mary Perry Verga

February 14, 1960 - February 05, 2019

Bridget Mary Perry Verga Gloucester, MA - Bridget Mary (Perry) Verga (58) of Gloucester, Mass., passed away peacefully Tuesday night surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Bridget was born in Gloucester on February 14, 1960, to her late parents Louis and Mabel Perry. She graduated from Gloucester High School and North Shore Community College. She raised her daughter, India Lowe, who she loved and cherished more than anything.
Bridget’s passion for teaching and jewelry making was admired by her friends and family. Her good nature and desire to help those around her often led to the donation of her beautiful jewelry pieces to numerous worthy causes. Her presence alone had the power to light up any room; but it was her infectious smile, incredible style, and witty sense of humor that brought love and joy to those around her. Bridget spent most of her days with her beloved Robert Campbell where they enjoyed each other’s company in every aspect of life.
Bridget was the sister of the late Louis “Butch” Perry Jr., and is survived by her adoring Robert Campbell; her daughter India Lowe, companion of Megan Ritchie; and her sister Sharon Mills, companion of Owen Mills.
Bridget’s memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church, 60 Prospect St., Gloucester, MA, on February 16, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Wildlife Conservation Society or Prevent Cancer Foundation.

For 35 yrs. we were thick as thieves, part of each other’s families, loved each other’s kid/kids, Godmother to my son, my daughter shares your name, many milestones, we knew absolutely every thing about each other, shared so many heartaches, sicknesses, and joys, what I wouldn’t give for at least 35 more, I’ll miss you forever, LOVE to Sharon, Bob and India.

Rest in peace to my dear friend jen’s coolest aunt Bridget. As young girls we were all in awe of you, your playfulness, your beauty and your style. Always letting us play dress up with your things and supporting our terrible singing & attempts at makeup & hair creations. Stay gold Bridget xo

I'm happy to have had our Paths cross briefly Bridget. I have a nice photo of you at Gera's looking happy and content so this is how I hold you in my heart! May you journey on well in Peace and Love, and have Joy in connecting with your loved ones where you are now. Your physical Presence will be missed on this Earth. May the road rise to meet you, the wind be always at your back and may God hold you in the palm of His/Her hand. And so it is.
