David W.'s Story
Mr. David W. Burnham, Jr., 46, of Gloucester, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was the loving and devoted husband to Phenganh (Vanhbouaravong) Burnham with whom he shared 17 years of marriage and over 25 years of true love and wonderful companionship.
David was born September 24, 1969 in Gloucester, loving son to David and Andrea M. (Laine) Burnham of Gloucester. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1987.
He worked at Multigrain’s in Lawrence doing Quality Control for several years.
David was a loving devoted family man who had a heart of gold. He especially adored his grandson. David enjoyed cooking and was known for his Sunday morning breakfasts he would prepare for his family. He also was a true New England Patriots fan and enjoyed fishing and walking his dog and loyal companion, Kona. He will be missed by his family and wonderful group of friends, especially during the football season.
In addition to his wife Ahn and his parents David and Andrea, David is survived by his three children Vil, Samone and Debbie Vanhbouaravong, fiancé of Randy Burns, all of Gloucester; his sister, Carrie Whitehead, wife of Kenneth Whitehead of Gloucester, his cherished grandson Skip Cream; his niece, Alexandra Whitehead and special nephew, Lee Whitehead.
David’s visiting hours will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
