Deborah's Story

TEMPLETON, MA: Deborah “Debbie” L. (Coulter) Ciaramitaro of Templeton, Mass., died peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer on September 9, 2015 at the Rose Monahan Home in Worcester. Debbie was born on May 26, 1964 in Beverly, to Pauline (King) and the late Fred Coulter. Debbie leaves her longterm partner and love of her life, Gary Young, her two sons, Bryan Ciaramitaro and fiancee, Melissa Wetherbee and Stephen Ciaramitaro, her mother, Pauline Coulter of Rockport; sisters, Julie, wife of Jim Ciaramitaro of Gloucester, and Kristin, wife of Ronald “Chip” Teele Jr. of Harwich. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and her two beloved dogs, Sunshine and Lucy.

Debbie grew up in Rockport. She attended Rockport schools, Essex Agricultural Technical School and Becker Junior College. Debbie moved to Templeton on December 24, 1997 to make a new life with Gary and her sons. She previously owned and operated West Street Cafe in Gardner. Debbie was co-owner of Templeton Paving and also worked as a bartender at the PACC in Gardner. As a child, Debbie frequently could be found at Charlie Lane’s farm, riding horses or giving pony rides. She enjoyed many hobbies which included coaching and attending her sons’ sporting events, traveling (especially to PEI, Canada), competition barbecuing, snowmobiling, fishing, camping, playing pool and golfing.

Debbie adored her sons, always making sure their needs came first. Gary was her one true love, the light of her life and he made her so happy. Debbie always had a smile that lit up the room wherever she went. She enjoyed life to the fullest and had a great sense of humor. Debbie enjoyed playing practical jokes on others, even up to the end of her life. She will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the PACC, Kendall Pond Road - West, Gardner. All are welcome to attend.
