Francine E.'s Story
Francine E. (Norton) Ciaramitaro, 68, of Gloucester, wife of Joseph Ciaramitaro, passed away in Addison Gilbert Hospital on November 29, 2017, after battling cancer for 6 months. She was born on February 19, 1949, in Addison, Maine, the daughter of Gladys (Dencie) Bryer. She graduated from Addison High School in Maine and worked her way down to Gloucester. She waitressed for a short time before working as a production worker at Rule Industries. She was a well-liked individual who could be seen riding around town on her scooter waving to everyone she knew. Despite her disabilities, she kept very busy. Francine was a big fan of St. Ann’s Bingo and loved playing cards with her friends. She loved animals and enjoyed cooking as well as spending time with her very close friend, Linda Manning, who was like a sister to her. Francine is survived by her husband, Joseph; her brother, Clayton Norton of Van Buren, Maine; a sister-in-law, Regina Myers; and father-in-law, Samuel Ciaramitaro; niece, Felicia Dombransky; and her good friend, Linda Manning, all of Gloucester. She was predeceased by her sisters, Florine Todd and Sharon, as well as a brother, Wayne Norton.
Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited.
