Francis J. "Frankie"'s Story
Mr. Francis J. “Frankie” Interrante, 53, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
Frankie was born on May 22, 1964, in Gloucester. He was the son of Sarah (Sabato) and Gaspar Interrante, Jr. He was a resident of Gloucester for most of his life. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1982.
Frankie was a cook in many restaurants before he joined his Dad in the family plastering business.
He was a loving father who enjoyed every minute spent with his son whether it be camping, fishing or simply sharing a meal. His quick wit and great sense of humor always brightened a room. His unconditional love and fighting spirit made all that knew him, love him. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his loving parents, Frankie is survived by his son, Jesse Interrante of Amesbury; his sister, Michele Cooper and her husband, Robert. He was the uncle of Kaya, Cammi and Cade Cooper. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gaspar Interrante III, his grandparents, Gasper and Rose Interrante, Frank and Jennie Sabato, as well as many aunts and uncles.
Frankie’s Memorial Service will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester, on Friday, October 20, 2017, at 4 p.m. His visiting hours will be immediately following the service until 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
