GLOUCESTER: Geraldine "Faye" (Quinn) Bunce, 87, of Gloucester, wife of the late Robert L. Bunce, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born April 10, 1930 in Rockport, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Anna (Costa) Quinn. Faye and her husband, Bob raised their children in East Gloucester. She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her smile, laugh, fun personality and love of life brought comfort and happiness to everyone she came in contact with. She was a very kind woman who was active in her church and would go out of her way to help others. She loved watching sports and loved her Red Sox! She enjoyed listening to her nephews play their music, dancing, going to the casino and playing bingo. She and her husband won a jitterbug competition, she had a hole in one while playing golf and had a perfect ten pin bowling game. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Bruce of Newburyport; son, Kevin Bunce and his wife, Linda of Charlestown; her sisters and brother in-laws, Nancy Lake, Donna and Jack King, Megara and Tim Wood and Sarah and Patrick McGraw; grandchildren, Alexandra Bruce and Robert Reeve Bruce, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
