Born March 25, 1924, she grew up on Wheeler's Point with her parents, the late, Helen C. (Holgerson) and Herman E. I have many memories of Kay, as she was a neighborhood mother. I spent many hours in Helen and Herm Josephson's yard and house, and of course Kay was also a part of her parents' community spirit. Kay was also a friend with my mother, Gert. They would have coffee together, and in later years went to Good Harbor Beach. I shared my Swiss Chard from my garden with Kay when I learned it was a favorite of hers. She will be missed.

My mom shared a lot of meals with Kay at Scarborough Terrace and we just loved her smile and wit. Godspeed to Kay and condolences to her family.
