Jeanette P. (Dagley)'s Story

Mrs. Jeanette P. (Dagley) Worthley, 86, of Gloucester passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of the late Stanley W. Worthley.
Jeanette was born June 16, 1929 in Gloucester, daughter of the late William and Florence (Robinson) Dagley. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and attended Gloucester Schools.
Jeanette’s true devotion was the time she spent with her loving family. She enjoyed her weekend shopping trips to north Conway, she also enjoyed her yard, gardening, crafting, sewing, cooking and loved to dance.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara J. Vadala and her husband Donald T. of Hamilton and Traci Monique Worthley of Gloucester; her son, Richard A. Worthley of Gloucester; her seven grandchildren, April Worthley, Jennifer Carr, Erica (Worthley) Harris, Stanley Worthley, Barry Worthley, Jeanette (Vadala) Sheehan and Donald T. Vadala, Jr.; her eight great-grandchildren, Brittany, Hayley and Christine Harris, Oceaan and Ceriana Worthley, Erin Carr, Kevin and Emma Sheehan; her great-great-granddaughter, Isla Jade Carter; her two brothers, William Dagley and Curtis Dagley; her four sisters, Doris Aspesi, Barbara DeSantis, Clarissa “Crissa” Parsons and Marie Amero. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, George Dagley.
Jeanette and Stanley’s graveside service will be in Beechbrook Cemetery, Essex Ave., (Route 133), on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
