I met Joan while working at Den Mar. I offered to wash, & press her clothes, she was very thankful to wear skirts without wrinkles & a nice flat hemline. Seeing her smile when I was hanging her clothes up, was wonderful. I loved her humor. Joan, you are missed & I hold you in my heart.

Joan was my mother-in-law's roommate, and she was always looking out for her, reminding her to use her walker, and trying to keep her in line. No easy task! The last time I visited, Janette and I pulled some chairs up around Joan's bed and we sang some hymns. Joan loved it, and she told me I made her happy when I came to visit. God bless her and keep her. She was a lovely lady.
