GLOUCESTER- John A. "JD" Deveau III, 53, of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Gloucester on August 10, 1964 son of the late John A. Deveau Jr. and Joanne T. (Settipani) Deveau.
John attended Gloucester High School. He worked for Maria's Pizza as a cook, making everyone's favorite pizza.
He was a very quiet person always keeping to himself but had a passion for adventures and the wilderness. John also was an avid sports fan, especially the Patriots, Bruins and the Celtics.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Lesia Wilson and her husband, Jay of Gloucester; two nephews, Joshua Wilson and Justin Wilson, both of Gloucester and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services and the burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Open Door Food Pantry, 28 Emerson Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930.
