Ken Beal, 58, of Ozark, Ala., previously of Rockport Mass., passed away peacefully Sunday, July 16, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala., surrounded by his family. He was born October 26, 1958, to the late Llyyod Beal and Marilyn Balzarini Beal. Captain Ken served three years in Army and was a lobsterman for many years, as well as a cook. He ran his own breakfast restaurant for many years. He was a great friend to so many and will be forever remembered for his kindness and unforgettable spirit. Ken was an extremely loving man and is survived by his wife, Susan Beal of Ozark; as well as his four children, Anthony Beal, Jennifer Holmes and her husband, Jesse, and Nick Beal, Chris Beal; his stepchildren, James Francis and his wife, Tanya, Melissa Perreira-Andrews and her husband, LJ; as well as his two grandchildren, Elizabeth Beal and Finn Holmes. He is also survived by his two brothers, Paul Beal and wife, Lauren, and Ricky Beal; his many nieces and nephews whom he adored; and his mother-in-law, Marilyn Gamradt. Ken loved spending time with his family and friends. He is gone too soon and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in Ozark, Ala., and a separate service will be held at a later date in Rockport, Mass.
