She grew up in her beloved South Boston and graduated from Nazareth High School and continued on to North Shore Community College where she received her associate degree in Accounting. She worked for Varian as an accounting specialist for many years. She was very much at home by the beach, from her childhood on N Street Beach in South Boston to Magnolia Beach. She had taken sewing classes at Essex Aggie and made many outfits for her family. She was a seasoned traveler, having traveled with family and friends on trips to Ireland, Europe, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Montreal, Vancouver’s World’s Fair, Washington State, as well as cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean Islands. She was also an accomplished golfer, playing on the Varian team at Bass Rocks. She enjoyed reading, especially works of fiction and loved her Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins. Most of all she loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving woman, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed, especially by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Maryanne Huggins and her husband Rick of Poulsbo, Wash., Maureen Donahue and her husband Joe of Gloucester, Mass., Patti Lemone and her husband Chris of Reading, Mass., and her son Rich Weir and his wife Phyllis of Ipswich, Mass.; a brother Bernard “Buddy” Yetman of Plymouth, Mass.; grandchildren, Emily and Maggie Donahue, R.J. and Brandon Huggins, Eric Weir, Amanda (Weir) Intelisano and her husband Nick, and Elizabeth, Maddie and Morgan Lemone.
