Maryline (Duncan) Macfarlan Dickman Broomall, PA - Maryline (Duncan) Macfarlan Dickman passed away on February 27, 2019.
Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts on March 22, 1925, the daughter of James and Marion Duncan. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Duncan, first husband Donald Macfarlan, and second husband Charles Dickman, and stepdaughter Heidi (Dickman)Taylor. She is survived by her two daughters Gael Macfarlan Abbasi of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and Carol Macfarlan Baxter and her husband Robert of Midlothian, Virginia, and Inga Dickman Nuccio and her husband Paul of Groton, Mass., and Donald Taylor of Los Alamos, N.M. Grandchildren, Donald Abbasi and his wife Alex, of Vienna, Va., Duncan Ryan, and his wife Kristin, of Gloucester, Shannon Sherwood and her husband Donald, of Midlothian, Va. Step grandchildren Zachary Nuccio and Christopher Nuccio, Luke Taylor, and Hanna Dieterle. Great-grandchildren, Sumner Ryan, Laura Ryan, Bailey Sherwood, and Elizabeth Abbasi.

Maryline was a 1943 graduate of Gloucester High School, and attended nursing school. She was the first woman lifeguard in Gloucester.

Maryline had a zest for life and enjoyed travel. But most of all, she loved being with her many dear and close friends and family. If Maryline had a bad day, they were few and far between. She had the unique ability to see only the good in everyone and everything.

There will be no local services and internment will be private at a later date.
