Michael R.'s Story
Michael R. Wall, 48, of Rockport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at his residence.
He was born in Gloucester on February 29, 1968, son of Patricia A. (Doyle) Wall of Rockport and the late Carleton E. Wall, Sr.
He was a graduate of Rockport High School, Class of 1986. He also attended Chamberlain-Coyne in Cambridge.
Michael worked doing landscaping and carpentry in the Cape Ann area.
In his younger years, he was an altar boy at St. Joachim Church and also played goalie for the Rockport High School hockey team. He grew up on Long Beach, loving the water, and was also a life guard there. The most important person in his life was his son, Christopher.
He was a member of the VFW and Gloucester Moose Lodge. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his loving son, Christopher Muise of Pensacola, Fla.; his mother, Patricia Wall of Rockport; two brothers, Carl Wall and his wife, Elaine of Rockport, Scott Wall and his fiancee, Aimee Shea of Gloucester; his niece, Brittni Bouska and her husband, Capt. Jonathon Bouska, United States Marines of Oceanside, Calif.; and three nephews, Brendan Wall, Kolton Wall and Brayden Claypool; and many aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his father, Carleton Wall, Sr.; and his sister, Cynthia Wall.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visiting hours or services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of his father to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
