GLOUCESTER: Nicole Marie Howard died unexpectedly on November 25, 2015. Born February 28, 1992 in Andover, she was the loving daughter of Laura and Warren Howard of Carlisle, and more recently, Gloucester.
Nicole was a 2010 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and attended Westfield State University. She was always quick to lend a caring hand, share a warm smile and touched hearts of many with love and compassion. She enjoyed being with her friends, socializing and making everyone around her happy. She loved music, traveling, running, fashion, movies and walking the beach with her dogs. Nicole brought life and laughter to all that she did. Some of her favorite pastimes were laying on sandy beaches near her home in Gloucester, driving along the back shore, watching the sunset at Niles beach and breakfast at Lee's. She had the ability to make people laugh as was a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. She was a princess. Her radiance and positive energy was infectious and admirable. As one of her dear friends wrote, "You laughed loudly, smiled widely and had a heart of gold."
She is survived by her loving parents, Laura and Warren Howard; her loving sister, Paige Howard; her grandparents, Robert and Norine Dennis of Punta Gorda, Fla.; her grandmother, Florence Howard of Saugus. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Nancy and Jim Casperson, Diane and Rick Morand, Kathy and Tom Scandura, Scott and Missy Dennis and Robert "Bobby" Dennis; her beloved cousins, Anika Beauregarde, Kristin Scandura, Michael Scandura, Hunter Casperson, Bethany Dennis, Kyle Morand and Sarah Dennis and sadly missed by her beloved dogs, Emily and Boo Howard.
Her funeral will be held from the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, on Tuesday, December 1, at 10:15 a.m. followed by a service in the First Baptist Church, 38 Gloucester Avenue, Gloucester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. The burial will be held in Dolliver Memorial Cemetery, West Gloucester. Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018 or online at www.hdsa.org.
