GLOUCESTER, MA - Pamela J. Polisson, 63, wife of Jason Polisson, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
She was born in Gloucester on July 22, 1954, daughter of the late Fred and Aurora (Baptiste) Dorman.
Pamela was a graduate of Gloucester High School, class of 1972. She worked for several years as a printer at Cyrk, then at Nutramax in customer service, and later as caretaker.
She was a very friendly, outgoing, and social person, who loved gossip. She was known for her crazy fingernails, and always riding on the back of a Harley, because she was a princess. She would do anything for anyone. She also loved her grand-kids, dancing, dining out, and was a big animal lover, always having cats, dogs and chickens. Pam was a big Patriots fan, and was looking forward to the Super Bowl.
Pam will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 18 years, Jason Polisson, of Gloucester; her daughter, Jill DiLiberti, and her companion, Daniel Russell, of Gloucester; her son, Jason DiLiberti, of Tempe, Ariz.; step-daughter, Efi Wilkins, and her husband, Steven, of Peabody; five grandchildren, Jarrod Martin, Cameron Russell, Colby Polisson, Nikolas Wilkins, and Christos Wilkins; sister, Denise LaPointe, of Hancock, Maine; half-sister, Jane Reys; her aunt, Mary Marchant; nephews, Matthew, and Bryan LaPointe; and extended family. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion, Coco, and her lovable feline friends, Petey and Safari.
She was predeceased by her half-brother, Thomas Dorman.
Her visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, on Thursday, February 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services, and the burial will be held privately.
