Patricia "Pat" M.'s Story
Mrs. Patricia (Pat) M. Kolackovsky, 74, a Rockport resident for over 20 years, passed away at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on Tuesday the 23rd. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family. Pat was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, John, her son, JP and his wife, Maureen; her two sisters, living in N.J., Jeanne and Barbara Cashin, and her brother, David living in Seattle, Wash. along with their families will miss her deeply. Pat was the daughter of Bud and Beulah Cashin.
She was born in Washington, D.C., lived in several towns in New Jersey and in Andover and Rockport, Mass.
Pat graduated from Dunellen High in 1960 (NJ) and went on to St. Elizabeth’s and Douglas/Rutgers where she received her BS in Chemistry. She was very talented and smart. She worked as a chemist and in company quality programs throughout her professional career. In her last position before retiring, Pat worked for over 20 years at Stahl in Peabody, Mass.
Pat enjoyed her life, family and friends. She had many diverse interests. When she was younger, she participated in sports car rallies, played the piano and had a great singing voice. She loved reading, writing, gardening, astronomy, camping with her friends, cooking, lunch with friends, fantasy football, Hawaii, the New England Patriots and had many other interests and hobbies.
Pat loved flowers. However and if you wished, she would probably prefer donations made to a good cause such as either the Lung Cancer Alliance or the Cancer Research Institute. Please contact CSCS.LLC@comcast.net for Memorial details.
