Paula A.'s Story
Paula A. Landry, 65, of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 21, 2016.
Born in Salem on November 7, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Champy) Bettencourt.
Paula was a graduate of Peabody High School. She was retired from Gorton’s of Gloucester, where she worked as an executive secretary for 30 years.
Paula was a very kind and gentle woman. She was light-hearted, loved to laugh, and will be forever remembered for her kindness. She enjoyed living near the ocean and all that the Gloucester community has to offer. She enjoyed sailing, whale watching, and tending to her garden. She was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Sandra Seeley and husband, Peter of Magnolia; her niece and god-daughter, Jodi Fitzgerald and husband, Jerry of Peabody; Lynne Bohan and husband, Edward of Swampscott; nephew, Peter Seeley, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Boca Raton, Fla.; seven great-nieces; two great-nephews; and her beloved dog, Tobey.
A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Cape Ann Animal Aid Association, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930.
