Robert S.'s Story
Robert S. White, Sr., 66, husband of Patricia A. (Bodoni) White and father of Emily E. White, of Gloucester, passed away on February 4, 2017, at the Addison Gilbert Hospital.
He was born in Gloucester on September 26, 1950, son of Mary E. (Brown) White and the late Herbert C. White.
Bob was employed for 20 years as a polisher at Gloucester Engineering.
Bob and Pat enjoyed traveling to Florida and Las Vegas and loved going to the casinos. He was a great dad and uncle and loved being around children and made them all feel special. He also loved his little Yorkie pal, Demi.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia A. White; his precious daughter, Emily White of Gloucester and his son, Robert; brothers, Herbert White, Mark White and his wife, Cleone, John White and his wife, Aurelia, all of Gloucester; his mother-in-law, Inga Bodoni of Gloucester; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnni Bodoni, Ursula Eastman, both of Gloucester, Philip Bodoni and his wife, Kathy of Peabody, Linda Johnson and her husband, Bob of Gloucester, Cindy Miller and her husband, Tom of Florida; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and his special godchild, Kimberly Miller of Florida.
He was predeceased by his father, Herbert White; father-in-law, Salvatore Bodoni; and sisters-in-law, Sandra White and Linda Bodoni; and brother-in-law, Michael Eastman.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Cruiseport in Gloucester on Sunday, February 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
There will be no visiting hours, and the burial will be held privately.
