Salvatore P. "Sam"'s Story
Salvatore P. Ciarametaro passed away on September 5, 2017. He was the husband of Rosemary ( Bagley ) Ciarametaro. Born in Gloucester, he was the son of the late Captain Joseph and Rose Ciarametaro. Sam was a graduate of Gloucester High, Class of 1957. He served in the US Army, upon being discharged, he attended Northeastern University, where he earned a degree in pharmacy.
Sam was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots. He was a very devoted and loving grandparent, and loved being with his grandchildren. Sam is survived by his wife, Rosemary, and her daughter, Jessica. He is also survived by his four children, Salvatore and wife, Doris, Rebecca and husband, James Copeland, Charles and wife, Lisa Ciarametaro; and son, David Ciarametaro; brothers Joe and wife, Phyllis of Fountain Hills Ariz., Vincent and wife, Carol of Chesapeake, Va., John and wife, Cathleen of Rockport; sisters, Elizabeth and husband, Raymond Pszenny of Rockport and Mary Rose Dukes of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Jean Ciarametaro of Gloucester; grandchildren, Jessica and Stephanie Ciarametaro, Sean Copeland, Crystal, April, Rachael, Maria and Charles Ciarametaro of Phoenix, Ariz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Ciarametaro.
Funeral arrangements will be held September 11 in Phoenix, Ariz.
