Sean P. Hammond, 51, of Milford, Mass., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 6, 2017, at home. He was the loving husband of Robin D. (Cooke) Hammond.
Mr. Hammond was employed at Amazon.com and recently promoted to Ambassador.
Sean was born in 1965 the son of the late Andrew W. Hammond, III and Patricia A. (Longo) Hammond of Milford, Mass., and was a graduate of Holliston High School. He also attended Framingham State College.
Family was the center of Sean's life. He was a proud father and loved his dachshunds. He was also a sports fanatic, life member of the Italian-American Veterans Post in Milford, and enjoyed "picking fruit." One of his most cherished places to spend time was Long Beach in Rockport, Mass.
In addition to his wife, Robin of 22 years and mother Patricia, he is survived by a son, David J.A. Hammond, and a daughter, McKenzi R. Hammond, both of Milford, Mass.; a brother, Andrew W. Hammond, IV, and his wife, Catherine of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.; his uncle, David Hammond of Hawaii; a niece Amelia; a nephew, Andrew V; his godfather, Gerry Hammond; his aunt and godmother, Annmarie Longo of Milford, Mass.; many cousins, and numerous friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be Friday, July 14, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St., Milford.
