Sharon Lee Corriveau Burnham, Maine - Sharon Lee Corriveau, 74, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, in Waterville, Maine.
Sharon was born on January 15, 1944, in Gloucester, the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Webber) Rose Jr. She graduated from Gloucester High School and received her degree from Aroostook State Teachers College in Presque Isle, Maine. She taught education for many years at both St. Agnes Parochial School and Manson Park School in Pittsfield, Maine.
Sharon was an active member in her community including being on the Egg Festival Committee, a host family for Maine Central Institute students for many years, a mentor for student teachers through the University of Maine and a board member of the Volunteer Regional Food Pantry of Unity, Maine.
She is survived by her loving husband, Claton Corriveau of Burnham, ME; daughter, Allison Scott and husband, Earl of Coral Springs, FL; grandchildren, Kameron Scott and wife, Shelby, Jordan Scott and Trey Scott; great grandson, Luca; siblings, Cynthia Amaral of Partlow, VA, Jeannie Connolly and husband, Frank of Deltona, FL and Kenny Rose and wife Karen of Rockport, MA; sister-in-law, Judy Rose of Gloucester, MA; sister-in-law, Raymonde Corriveau of Frenchville, Maine; brother-in-law, Michael Corriveau and wife, Kristy of North Berwick, Maine; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Caldwell and husband, Timothy of Old Town, Maine; brother-in-law, John Corriveau and wife, Tonya of Patten, ME; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, James Rose; brother-in-law, Armand Corriveau; and sister- in-law, Eva Corriveau.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
