Sister Mitrina's Story
Sister Mitrina Davidson, CSJ, in her 75th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, Mass., died Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Devoted daughter of the late Albert L. and Sarah Louise (Monahan) Davidson, and loving sister of the late Edna Shea and Jean Seckington.
Survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and her Sisters
in the Congregation.
Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas School, Jamaica Plain, St. Mary School, Charlestown; Cathedral School, Boston, Immaculate Conception School, Revere, Immaculate Conception School, North Cambridge, St. Raphael School, Medford; and as Principal at St. Mary School, Winchester. Sister Mitrina also served as the Director and Associate Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of Good Voyage Parish, Gloucester for 39 years.
Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Mass., Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, Framingham, Mass.
