Steven P. Dumas, 59, of Magnolia, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Steven was born in Gloucester on July 22, 1958. He was the son of Sally A. (Tarr) Dumas and the late Philip J. “Pete” Dumas, Jr. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1976.
Steven was an avid cyclist who enjoyed cooking and wood working. Steven was volunteer for the American Diabetes Association (Cure De Tour) for many years.
Steven is survived by his two sisters, Crisann E. Asaro, her husband, Joseph and Victoria A. Mason, her husband, Mark; niece, Melissa Harrington, her husband, Jason; nephews, Michael Asaro, his wife, Mary, Brandon, and Evan Mason; three great-nieces and two great-nephews, Talia, Ava, and Braden Harrington, Nason and Claudia Asaro. Steven is also survived by his aunt, Mary J. Guerin and uncle, Joe Guerin of Lawrence; and three cousins, Peter, John and Michael Brigham, and special cousins, Martha O’Connor and family.
In honoring with Steven's wishes, funeral services will be private.
