SOUTH LAWRENCE: Alden Joseph Therrien died on July 20, 2015. He was born on October 17, 1927, to Oneeta (Wool) and Frank Therrien of Swanton, Vt. He first made his living as a bicycle repairman in Swanton, and later became a car dealer with a passion for classic cars and motorcycles. He was also a guitarist and a frequent traveler, living many places.

He was formerly married to Constance (Canillas) Therrien of Gloucester; and is survived by his daughter, Cindy Therrien-Owens; his son-in-law, Rolf Owens, Jr.; and granddaughter, Joscelyn Owens of Beverly. He is survived also by his brother, Daniel Therrien and wife, Marilyn of Tampa, Fla.; his brother, John Therrien and wife, Jean of Milton, Vermont; his brother, Patrick Therrien and wife, June of St. Albans, Vt.; and sisters, Pauline (Therrien) Roy of Lawrence, and Sally (Therrien) Sears, plus many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Steven Therrien, of Gloucester; his brother, Clayton Therrien of Chicopee, and sister, Jane Many of St. Albans, Vt.

Burial was at Dollivers Memorial Cemetery, West Gloucester.
