Alfred's Story

Alfred White, 86, of Boston, Mashpee and Naples, Fla., passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer on July 30, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Christine Korkatti White and son of the late Maurice and Edna (Kogos) Weisberg.
Alfred was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, and served in the U.S. Army. He was co- owner of Offices Unlimited Incorporated for 20+ years. Shortly after retiring, he became an active real estate investor for many years. Al was involved in Save the Bay. He was an avid boater, loved skiing and volunteer fundraiser for several non-profits.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his loving wife of 38 years, Alfred is survived by three children, Ronnice Ozdemirci and husband, Cezmi, of Florida, Jeffrey White of Colorado, Pamela Frey of California, as well as his brother, Stanley White and wife Viola of West Bridgewater; four grandchildren, Ismet Ozdemirci, Emma White, Kelsey and Conner Frey, his daughter in-law, Janet Schuchter, his sister-in-law, Nikki Korkatti and husband George Wallace, and brother-in-law, Jon Korkatti.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave. (Route 151) Mashpee. Burial will be private. Donations in Al’s memory may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation for Falmouth Hospital, P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
