GLOUCESTER, MA: Alycia M. Mazzeo, 23, of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
She was born in Gloucester on May 13, 1992, daughter of Philip J. Mazzeo of Gloucester and Mary H. (Walsh) Mazzeo Peabody.
Alycia attended Gloucester Schools and received her GED and later attended North Shore Community College.
She did a lot of modeling in retail fashion and was an avid reader and writer. She loved dancing and singing. She also loved to cook, especially Brazilian foods, and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.
Alycia will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Isabella Marie; her parents, Mary H. Mazzeo of Peabody, and Philip J. Mazzeo and his fiancée, Maureen of Gloucester; four brothers, Daniel Mazzeo of Gloucester, John Mazzeo and his wife, Katie of Gloucester, Phillip Mazzeo of Beverly, and Bayron Contreras all of Gloucester; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held in the West Gloucester Trinitarian Congregational Church, 488 Essex Avenue, Gloucester, on Saturday, December 19, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. A visitation will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester on Saturday, December 19, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The burial will be held privately.
