Ann E.'s Story
Ann E. (Bohaker) Adams, 91, beloved wife of the late Edgar Adams, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Seacoast Healthcare Center in Gloucester.
Born and raised in Manchester-by-the-Sea, she was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Anna (Whalen) Bohaker.
A lifelong resident of Manchester by the Sea, she received her education at St. Ann’s School in Gloucester and St. Margaret’s School in Beverly Farms.
Mrs. Adams was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Manchester. She enjoyed traveling, camping, bingo and was a member of the Manchester Women’s Bowling League, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving her are five daughters, Ann Boudrot and her husband, Paul of The Villages, Fla., Cindy Dorman and her husband, Alan of Pittsburg, N.H., Kathy Tarbox and her husband, Bob of Manchester, N.H., Jeanne Maitland of Groton and Ruth Bisceglia of Townsend; a son, Kenneth J. Adams and his wife, Karen of Manchester-by-the-Sea, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandchildren Michael Gazeaud and Brian Adams, and three siblings, Mary Michalski, Jean Mascotti and Kenneth Bohaker.
Her funeral service will be held graveside, at the Rosedale Cemetery, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
