Bronwyn "Bambi"'s Story
Bronwyn Link passed away on October 4, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends at Lahey Clinic Burlington following a courageous battle with liver disease.
Bronwyn was born on August 5, 1963, in Brighton, Mass., and she resided in Gloucester for the last 16 years. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1982 .
"Bambi" loved the ocean, sitting on the beach, traveling with friends, dancing, singing, laughing, extreme couponing, candy, fast cars, a variety of music, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was known for her outgoing personality and her ability to make people feel welcome. She had a light about her, and when she walked in a room, her presence was felt by everyone in it. Bronwyn had a sense of compassion for others that was unwavering. Her strength, positive attitude and continual concern for others, even during her illness, showed her true character. Her open heart and ability to be herself and make others laugh made her one of a kind. She was truly an angel among us and will be sadly missed by many .
Bronwyn is survived by her son, Shane Link, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her life partner and best friend, William "Billy" Ace; her brother, Daniel McGrath; and her nieces and nephews, Cheyenne, Savannah, Indigo, Dakota, and Sequoya, whom she loved dearly; as well as her dog, Luna. She was predeceased by her parents, Sandra and Daniel McGrath
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Lahey Clinic MICU, East 2, for their exceptional care, compassion, patience, professionalism, and grace during this difficult time.
