Christopher Mark Pyser, 30, died Sunday, May 28, 2017, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born in Gloucester on July 28, 1986, Chris was the beloved son of Mark and Patricia Pyser.
He graduated from Gloucester High School, Class of 2004, and studied business at Endicott College.
Chris' passion for life included many different interests. He loved fast cars, fancy clothes, good cologne, and a fine cigar. His sandwich-making skills and love of cooking were fine-tuned during his many years at Destino's in Gloucester. He was extremely talented in electronics and was working at Solar Tech International in Riviera, Fla., at the time of his passing.
Baseball and soccer were his passion, and he was an all-around talented athlete. Chris loved being on the sea here in Gloucester, and was devoted to his family and friends.
He was kind and compassionate, and always looked out for those less fortunate than he. Chris could argue with the best of them and was the life of the party. Life was just beginning to look fantastic for him in Florida.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his sister, Nicole; his grandmother, Dorothy Pyser and companion, Paul Hagarty; his aunts and uncles, Ed and Diane Fitzgerald of Setauket, N.Y., Wayne and Ann Ryan of Palmer, Mass., Michael and Stephanie Pyser of Dublin, Ohio, Brian and Alyssa Fogarty of Danville, Calif.; and all of their children. He will be terribly missed by his girlfriend, Lisa Getz of Florida; his dear friend, Tammy Proctor of Essex; and all of his wonderful friends.
There will be a celebration of life later this summer. Funeral services will be private. Donations can be made in Chris' name to PAARI (Police Assisted Addiction Recovery Initiative), 186 Main St., Suite 25A, Gloucester, MA 01930, or to a charity of your choice.
