Darrell Ray's Story
Darrell Huntley, born Sept. 22, 1932, in Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 29, 2017, in Franklin, N.H.
Darrell was preceded by his mother, Helen (Leach) Huntley, and father, Oscar W. Huntley of Riverton, Wyo.
Darrell was loved and will be missed by his brothers, Don Huntley and Dean Huntley; his son, Darrell Scott Huntley; daughter, Danell Huntley; three grandchildren, Carrie Huntley, Jaimes Huntley, and Mindy Guerreiros; many nieces and nephews; ex-wife, Nancy (Bumpus) McFadden; and long-time companion, Rose Levesque.
Darrell was proud to have been a saddle-bronc rodeo rider winning several buckles, a hunting guide and cowboy from Wyoming. He also was a barber and small business owner while raising his family on the East Coast. Darrell was an Army Veteran who loved travelling, boating, telling stories, and going for rides to see the countryside.
The immediate family will hold a small celebration of his life at a time and place to be determined.
