Donna Lisa's Story
Donna Lisa (Todd) Allen, 50, of Essex passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017 with her loving family at her side. She was the loving wife to Richard J. “Rick” Allen with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.
Donna was born August 2, 1966 in Gloucester. She was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Florence Ada (Rust) Todd. She has resided in Essex for the past seven years and previously resided and went to school in Gloucester.
She worked at the Addison Gilbert Hospital as a Phlebotomist for many years prior to retiring due to ill health.
Donna was a great wife, mom and friend but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart as she was so dedicated to all of them. She was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed the Red Sox. She also had a love for being outdoors and enjoying life.
In addition to her devoted husband Rick, Donna is survived by her children Jamie Allen of Rumney, N.H., Lisa Marie Todd of Brooksville, Fla., Torrey Allen of Essex and Haley Allen of Essex. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Sylvia I. Stillman of Gloucester, Russell Todd of N.Y., Linda M. Brown and her husband Mark of Gloucester, Dennis Todd of Gloucester, Norman J. Hall of Gloucester, Kenneth E. Todd and his wife Margie of Gloucester, Debra L. Todd of Gloucester, Michael Todd and his wife, Brenda of Gloucester, Ronnie D. Todd of Gloucester, Chris J. Todd and his wife Deborah of Gloucester. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Camdyn Lee Allen, Madison Elaine Todd, Kiandra Marie Bergman and Kayleine Tower and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter A. Todd, Richard A. “Richie” Todd and Edward Todd.
Donna’s Memorial Service will be in the First Baptist Church, 38 Gloucester Ave., Gloucester, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. For online condolences and register book please visit www.pikenewhall.com.
