Grace M. (Randazza)'s Story
Grace died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 26, 2017.
Born in Gloucester on April 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Aiello) Randazza.
In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas, Joseph, Seraphino and Paul Randazza; as well as sisters, Annie Parisi and husband, Jack, and Mary Matthews and husband, Neil. She was also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Joseph Parisi.
Grace is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph V. Stanton, Sr. She leaves behind her sister, Jennie Parisi; and two brothers, Salvatore (Sam), husband of Mary-Agnes Randazza, and John, husband of Dorothy Randazza; a sister-in-law, Mary-Lee Randazza; as well as close cousin, Sebastian (Buzzy) Parisi and his wife, Nora.
Grace was a devoted mother to nine children, Margaret Stanton; Ralph Stanton, Jr., husband of Lola; David Stanton, husband of Karen; William Stanton, husband of MaryBeth; Sandra Pierce; Paula Stanton; Michael Stanton, husband of Jeanne; Janet Stanton, wife of Steve Low; and Linda Stanton, long time companion of Peter Noseworthy.
She was the adored grandmother of 17, Joanna Masopust, Bryan Danner, Daniel and Scott Stanton, Cheryl Frary, Chris Stanton, Danielle Osier, Josh and Bryan LeClaire, Jamie Calloway, John and Cori Pierce, Cody and Kaylee Stanton, Cameron Burroughs, and Sara and Emily Stanton.
Grace also had 13 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In honoring Grace’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A memorial Mass will be at Holy Family Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Prospect St., Gloucester, April 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
