James H. "Jim"'s Story
Mr. James H. “Jim” Oski, 75, of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in Den Mar Health and Rehabilitation following a brief illness. He was the husband of Judith C. (Clark) Oski, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.
Jim was born April 4, 1941, in Willimantic, Conn. He was the son of the late Henry and Ruth (Sherman) Oski. He was a resident of Gloucester for over 35 years. He attended Winchester New Hampshire High School and then went on to further his education at Northeastern University, where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He worked as an independent contractor in the construction industry for many years, until his retirement.
In addition to his loving wife, Judith, Jim is survived by two daughters, Janice Uhlig of Gloucester and Karen Cormier of Athol; two grandchildren, Ethan Uhlig and Trevor Davis. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Thims and her husband, Stan of No. Yarmouth, Maine.
Jim’s memorial service will be in the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St., Gloucester on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Dollivers Memorial Cemetery, West Gloucester. For online condolences and register book, please visit www.pikenewhall.com.
