Jason C.'s Story
Jason C. Amero, age 32, died unexpectedly at home. He was a loving husband of Wendee(Almela-Collens) Amero. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts, son of Scot C. Amero and his wife, Julie of Essex and Christine L. (Ryan) Delp and her husband, Scott of S. Hamilton. He was a graduate of Manchester Regional High School, Class of 2002.
Jason worked as a mechanic for many years before changing careers to be a metal fabricator in manufacturing. He was a passionate person loving so many aspects of life including cooking, his incredibly tasting BBQ and music. He had a lifelong love of classic muscle cars, including his Trans Ams and his current project, a 1976 screaming orange Firebird. He loved the outdoors whether in his Jeep or his bicycle. Most of all, he loved his two wonderful dogs (four legged kids), Brandy and Crystal, family and friends. Everyone that knew him will remember him by his generous heart and contagious smile.
Surviving him in addition to his wife and parents is a brother, Jonathan R. Amero and his fiancé, Tennile of Danvers; a sister, Seanna Walsh-Quill of Essex; maternal grandmother, Elaine (Anderson) Campbell of S. Hamilton; mother-in-law, Wendee Almela of Manchester by the Sea; father-in-law, Cayetano Almela of Spain; his dogs, Crystal and Brandy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a maternal grandfather, Jones E. Ryan of Gloucester, Massachusetts and paternal grandfather, Charles E. (Grampy Chuck) Amero of Essex, Massachusetts.
His funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.
