GLOUCESTER: Mr. Mark Q. Titus, 57, of Gloucester, died suddenly, Thursday November 5, 2015, at Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester.
Born in Newport News, Va., he was the son of Willet and Marian (Quinn) Titus. He was raised and educated in New Jersey prior to moving to Massachusetts.
A resident of Cape Ann since 1980, Mr. Titus had been employed as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years.
An avid fisherman and skier, Mark had an outgoing personality and made friends wherever he went. Mark’s easygoing nature, warm smile and mischievous chuckle brightened everyone’s day. He especially loved being with his family and was a wonderful, son, brother and uncle, he will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Willet and Marian of Rockport, Mark is survived by his brother, Patrick Titus and wife, Jennifer of Gloucester and their three sons, Schuyler, Derek, and Patrick, all of Gloucester.
A service will be held in St. Joachim’s Church, Broadway, Rockport, on Friday November 13, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
