Pamela A.'s Story
Pamela A. Hill, 60, of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester following a long illness.
Born in Milford, Mass. on May 11, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Almon and Marjorie (Crowley) Sweetland.
Pam received her calling early in life when in high school she began working as a nurse’s assistant in a nursing home and later earned her degree as an LPN.
As a young lady, she worked hard raising her family and then began working at the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she lovingly cared for Alzheimer’s patients for many years.
Pam was a very kind and compassionate lady who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Hill; her daughter, Ashley Hill and partner, Eileen Burnham-Quinn; sister, Kim Sweetland-Ryan; godchildren, Lynn and John; step-grandchildren, Michael, Lilliana and Charlotte; her beloved dog, Nico and cat, Asia.
She was predeceased by her brother, Ladd Sweetland.
Her visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester on Tuesday, August 1, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Her burial service will be held privately.
