Patricia J. (Mitchell)'s Story
Mrs. Patricia J (Mitchell) Sinagra passed away in the warmth of her family on Tuesday, July 26th.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Victoria (Sinagra) Andrews and her loving husband, Capt. Joseph E. Sinagra, survived by her sons, Joseph A., Frank M., Anthony J. Sinagra, and her devoted daughter, Julianne (Sinagra) Mackey. She was an adoring grandmother to Christopher J, Amanda M., Dominique A., Anthony Jr., Elena and Tristan Sinagra, Jennifer M. Andrews, Victoria E. (Mackey) Catafesta, and Bethany R. Haselgard. She also found joy in being a great-grandmother to Rielly J. Sinagra, Lilly R. Interrante, Naomi Sinagra, and Tyler M. Catafesta.
Patricia was born on September 10th 1932 in Gloucester, daughter of the late Anthony and Amanda (Rodrick) Mitchell. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate from GHS Class of 1950. Patricia enjoyed the time spent with her family including her cousins on the Cape. She devoted her life to raising her children and granddaughter Jennifer M. Andrews. Pat also made many friends through her volunteer work with St. Vincent de Paul. She enjoyed Murder Mysteries, playing cards with her friends, dreaming of George Clooney, and a good Pina Colada.
Patricia’s memorial service will be in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect St. Gloucester on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
