MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA: Peggie E. (Emery) Cook, 81, beloved wife of the late Ernest W. Cook, died Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Raised and educated in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Montine (Tanner) Emery. She moved to Manchester in the early 1970s, where she has since resided.
Mrs. Cook was currently employed for over 40 years at the Landmark School in Manchester and Prides Crossing campuses, where she had worked in many rewarding roles.
Surviving her are three sons, Bruce W. Cook and his wife, Martha of San Diego, Calif., Gregory W. Cook and his wife, Lael of Hamilton, and Douglas G. Cook and his wife, Julie of Magnolia; a daughter, Elizabeth C. Campbell and her husband, Jeremy of Beverly; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Olivia, Ted, Oliver, Isabel and David.
Her funeral service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 705 Hale Street, Beverly Farms, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Landmark School, 429 Hale Street, Prides Crossing, MA 01965.
