It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Peter Vincent Ciarametaro on Thanksgiving day, November 24, 2016, surrounded by his devoted wife and children.
Born December 29, 1942, one of seven children to Rosalie Orlando Ciarametaro and Captain Joseph Ciarametaro. Peter lived his entire life here in Gloucester and was very proud of his heritage.
Peter married his high school sweet heart, Jean, who he shared 55 years of marriage. They spent many happy years living on the North Shore and at their vacation home in North Fort Myers, Florida.
To Peter, family was everything. His happiest times were spending time with his children and grandchildren for any occasion. He would often times create occasions in order to bring his family together.
He was deeply loved by many for his always optimistic and charitable nature.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean and children, Lisa Webb of Rockport, Rosalie Wright and husband, John of Gloucester, Joseph Ciarametaro and wife, Cindy of Gloucester, Peter Ciarametaro and wife, Julie of Lanesville; his cherished grandchildren, W. Garett Webb and wife Eleni of Gloucester, Amanda Webb and fiance Matt of Beverly, Alexander Peter Webb of Rockport, Melissa and Adam Ciarametaro of Lanesville; brothers, Joseph Ciarametaro and wife, Phyllis of Arizona, Sammy and wife, Maryrose of Arizona; sister, Elizabeth Pszenny and husband, Ray of Rockport; brother, John and wife Kathy of Rockport, Vincent Ciarametaro and wife, Carol of Virginia, and sister, Maryrose Dukes of N.C..
He was preceased, son-in-law, Walter M. Webb and Mother and father-in-law, Ann and James Lundberg.
Peter loved life and we will always hold him in our hearts.
