Ralph W.'s Story
Ralph W. Bradstreet, 63, passed away on January 12, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born May 1, 1953, to the late Edna and Xavier Bradstreet. He was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1971. He was also a longtime employee of Gorton's of Gloucester. Ralph was a fun and loving man who cherished his family, loved cookouts, The Beatles, and was a Dallas "diehard." He was an avid reader of Stephen King books and loved watching his movies. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends and was always there if someone needed a helping hand. He always had a smile on his face and kept everyone laughing with his favorite saying "Yabba-Dabba-Doo."
Ralph was predeceased by his mother and father, Edna and Xavier Bradstreet; and brother, Frances Bradstreet "Butch." Ralph is survived by twin sister, Marilyn Brackett; her children, Ashley Brackett and Melissa Amero; sisters, Florence and husband, Jack Borge, Agnes Fowler; his best friend and ex-wife, Dawn Bradstreet and her significant other, David Turner; his two children, Ralph Bradstreet "Junior" and Sasha Bradstreet "Gizmo"; grandchildren, whom he treasured everyday, Taila Bradstreet "Boobear," Hunter Bradstreet "Scooby," Jacob Bradstreet "Jake the Snake," Gianna Bradstreet "GG," and his newest granddaughter, Elaina; stepson, Ronald Nelson and his children, Jessica, Nicole, Josh and Seth; his sister-in-law, Becky Thompson "Becky Boop," her children, Zachary Skrobacz-Nelson "Nephewson," and his son, Parker Skrobacz-Nelson "Charlie Brown," Jacklyn Thompson "Jaxs" and her son, Damian Kane "Tasmanian Devil," and Samantha Thompson "Sammy Tumbles,"; his sisters-in-law, Vera Blake and Jayne Morong and their children; his best friend, Kevin Collins; many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at McPherson Park, 31 Prospect Street in the Community Center from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
