Richard T. "Ricky"'s Story
Richard T. “Ricky” Menicocci, 32, of Gloucester, lost his battle with addiction on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
Ricky was born May 22, 1984. He was the son of Lisa M. (Kellar) Gonzales of Gloucester and the late James M. Menicocci. He was the stepson of Andres Gonzales. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester as well as attended Gloucester High School.
Ricky worked on the Gloucester waterfront for many years. He also worked in the Construction field.
His true devotion was his princess Malyiah Rose Menicocci. She was the twinkle in his eye. He also enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping, hiking or even cooking over an open fire.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, Ricky is survived by his loving daughter Malyiah Rose Menicocci, his brothers Daniel and Lorenzo Gonzales, his sister Felicia Wagner and her husband, Stephen of Gloucester. He is also survived by his grandparents, Judith Menicocci of Gloucester, Thomas and Janet Kellar of Ohio, he is survived by many aunts and uncles including Melissa Menicocci and her husband, Kirk Hoysradt, Christina Carey of Lawrence, Lynne Menicocci of Gloucester, Thomas Kellar and his wife, Alexa of N.C., Russell Tucker and his wife, Rhonda and his nephew, Brady Wagner. He is also survived by many great-aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family in Texas.
In addition to his father, James, Ricky was predeceased by his grandfather, Richard Menicocci, his uncles, Craig Renalds, Thomas Pratt and cousins, Malia and Charlie Pratt.
Ricky’s Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in First Baptist Church 38 Gloucester Ave Gloucester at 4 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Rickys life at the Church until 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
