Ronald E.'s Story
Ronald E. Cunha, 65, passed away on Sunday morning, August 28, 2016, at his home.
Born in Gloucester on November 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Barbara and Earl Cunha.
Ron was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Moctobi during the Vietnam War.
For many years, Ron worked in the maintenance department for the Gloucester Public Schools, until his retirement in November, 2014.
Ron is survived by his soul mate, Donna Munoz; his children, Paul Cunha and wife, Dianna, Jay Munoz and wife, Alyse, and Amy Munoz; grandchildren, Fulton, Aiden, and Jonas Cunha and Emmett Munoz; his brothers, James Tarr, William and Timothy Ahearn and Ralph Cunha; his sister, Nancy Benson and husband, Larry; his stepmother, Edith Cunha; his former wife, Karen Cunha; many nieces, nephews and dear friends, especially Joe Viator.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his daughter, Stacey Cunha and his sister, Jane Tarr.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
