Tammy Joy's Story
Tammy Joy, current resident of Gloucester, passed away on June 4, in Addison Gilbert Hospital.
Tammy was born in Lowell, daughter of Nancy R. (Delasle) Cowan and Robert W. Polewarczyk.
Tammy was passionate about many things: fishing, camping, the outdoors, animals, music and she was also known for being an outstanding cook. A popular favorite was her famous potato salad. She was also a collector of art and antiques.
Tammy will be leaving behind her greatest loves, her children, Marisa, Jessica, and Michael Oliver, all of Gloucester, Matthew Leosakus, Samantha and April Balargeon of Lowell, and her youngest Kelsey Ray. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Lee Polewarczyk and Keri-Ann McGrad, both of Lowell. Also some special people to her are Craig Hamilton, the shoulder she could always rely on, and her best friends, Kelly Norris and Brian Dinnigan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tammy has touched many hearts and souls along the way and she will be missed by each and every one of them.
Tammy had requested to be cremated and the funeral services will be private.
