Thomas F.'s Story
Thomas Kerr, formerly of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, September 20th after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
After graduating from Gloucester High School, Class of 1956, he joined the Air Force where he served for 21 years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He then worked for San Bernardino County Schools as director of business for the next 20 years. Upon retirement he moved to Cottonwood, AZ.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret (Herrick) Kerr; brother, James Kerr of Idaho Falls, ID; sons, David (Tammy) Kerr of Cottonwood, AZ, Stephen (Ruth) Kerr of Glendale, Calif.; daughter, Judy (Julio) Rodriguez of Kennerick, Wash.; four grandchildren, Jesse, Jennifer, Jessica and Claire; and two great granddaughters, Avery and Nora.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clinton and Florence Kerr and brother, Clinton.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
