PEABODY, MA: W. Peter Zulkowski, 72, of Peabody, passed peacefully on September 1, 2015, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his devoted family after a courageous battle with ALS. Peter was a retired computer field-service engineer. He served his country with honor in the US Air Force during the war in Vietnam and was a member of the Gloucester United Methodist Church and the Gloucester Lodge of Elks.
Peter was the loving husband of more than 48 years to Charlotte K. Zulkowski; the dear father of Lissette R. Bedard and her husband, Stephen of Danvers, and Meredith M. Muise and her husband, Kevin of Peabody; the cherished grandfather of Matthew and Jake Bedard and Tabitha Muise. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Fournier and her husband, Steve of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; brothers-in-law, Bill Brault of Peabody, Mass., and Joe Connerley and his wife, Barbara of Noblesville Ind., Bill Connerley and his wife, Paula of Eaton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Zulkowski, and a sister, Constance Brault.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 12, at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street (off Route 1), Peabody, MA.
