Wendi's Story

Text size

A light has dimmed with the passing of Wendi Beth Hahn of Ipswich, beloved daughter of Marcia Jo Hahn of Rockport and the late William J. Hahn. A celebration of Wendi’s life will take place at a later date.
A ballet dancer in her early years, Wendi was a talented certified fitness trainer and bartender extraordinaire, including at the Black Cow Restaurant in Hamilton. Wendi was known for her love of the ocean, her quick wit, and being a loyal friend.
The family expresses deep gratitude to Dr. Patrick J. Wen and his entire team of the Neuro-oncology Unit at Dana Farber Cancer Institute as well as to her very special caregivers and a circle of extraordinary friends and family whose love and support was so meaningful.
Donations in memory of Wendi can be sent to DFCI, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445, listing Neuro-oncology Research in the memo, or to The Kaplan Family Hospice House, c/o Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923, listing the Tree of Life Celebrations in the memo line.
